"Driving away from Jellystone with that "what a great family experience". Your kids will absolutely love the huge Bounce Pad, swimming pool, shuffleboard (1st for us), horse shoes, and Yogi bench. Currently completing putt putt golf course and laser tag area. Forgot to mention pickle ball and basketball court. The campground is in a beautiful setting with a fishing pond and mature trees. The owner was working but sat at a picnic table and chatted with us. This is a family-run and family-friendly campground. No RV? Book a cabin!"

"Will continue to take my family back year after year. We love the themed weeks/weekends. They are always so friendly, courteous and super friendly. They have added some new attractions and activities since our last visit last year. We played sand volleyball until we could not see the ball any longer. I would recommend them putting some lights on the court during night play. There are light by the washers and horseshoes so we need some by the volleyball court!!! They are so family-oriented and very welcoming. See y'all in a few months!!! "

"Quiet, wooded and relaxing campground for any family or group. Our Adult Senior group meet here in the Spring and again in the Fall for a 3-4 day retreat of fellowship, food, and entertainment (that we bring in). We have been meeting here for many years and have been treated in an excellent manner by the staff and on-site owner-manager. Our group is made up of RV owners and Cabin renters. The staff respond to our needs as they arise in a prompt and friendly manner. Go Seniors!"

"This is the first year we have had the opportunity to have our Family Reunion at Jellystone Park at Whispering Pines in Tyler. Our stay was amazing. We had 55 people in attendance over the weekend and 55 happy happy campers. The kids had so much fun with all of the activities that were offered, we didn't ever see them in the meeting room except when it was time to eat. They were either fishing, swimming, putt putt golfing or bouncing on the huge air pad. The adults that were not watching the kiddos, were relaxing either by the pool or in the meeting room that was where we held our dinner. It was quiet, cool and overall enjoyable. We've been having this reunion for about 50 years, and we are so satisfied with the accommodations and activities that we have already booked our 2017 Reunion. The staff is amazing, friendly and so helpful. They were readily available to help with whatever our needs were as well as to answer any questions we had, this being our first trip. ...FABULOUS"

"This was our first time at a Jellystone! We loved this location. It has a very light, fun, family vibe. Perfect for our 4 & 5 year old. I loved it in October as the weather was perfect and the activities for Halloween were in full effect! The kids enjoyed riding in the golf carts ($60 a day), fishing in the pond, and the hayride/pumpkin painting! We had a loft cabin on the pond and the views were beautiful! The cabins are cozy and clean. The price is very reasonable! Can't wait to go back!"

"We went there because I wanted to camp and we wanted something fun for the kids. We'd been there before so we knew how great they were already. But they were doing special Halloween activities too. They are a great place for the entire family! Doesn't matter if you have really small children or big kids there is something for all of them. We have been to LOTS of RV parks and this is the very BEST! The staff is super, the rates are good, the sites are good and they are open all year long. If you are ever in the area be sure and check them out. Oh yeah, if you're a return guest don't be surprised you're called by name. Just one more extra nice benefit. Hope to see you there."

"This has to be hands down the best campground we have ever visited. I don't know who wrote that the staff was not friendly they are absolutely wrong! Everyone there greeted me and my wife as if they was a long lost friend of the family. Smiles on their faces that lit up the room. The office sells everything you might need on short notice eggs bacon biscuits hot dogs ice firewood etc... They also have a small gift shop that sell all sorts of neat stuff. The restrooms and showers are the cleanest we have ever seen or used. Plenty of things to do and i enjoyed the fishing pond. We will definitely be coming back in the future very relaxing."

"This is the place to go to enjoy a heapin' helping of God's creation. Midweek, during the school year, you will be rewarded with peace and quiet amid the beauty. But, be prepared for a loud chorus of tree frogs (?) at bedtime. One morning about 6:00 the robins woke us up, singing from the top of our rig! (In my half sleep, I thought they had gotten in the closet in our bedroom!). I assume from all the activities available, weekends and holidays are filled with the sounds of families and children having great fun. The new owners have made a whole lot of upgrades and additions, and they are not finished. I will say that the miniature golf course needs help but it is something to do and they are still working on it. TBD. The two pools are beautiful, but there was no heat in the hot tub during our stay. We were here with an RV rally group but we stayed extra and may we'll come back another time. "

"My wife and rolled into Tyler in our 42 foot Motorhome to visit with family. We typically don't do the Jellystone thing, but what a surprise. We opted for a Platinum site with fire ring, lights, covered patio, grill and even a wash down hose at the front of the site. The sites are large, wooded and nicely separated providing privacy. The selection of activities for the kids is endless. Their staff is super friendly, accommodating and work their butts off. The ongoing upgrades in the park are amazing. They are putting a lot of money and sweat equity in this park and it shows. We had a phenomenal experience with our family there and can't wait to come back."
