This is my first time visiting Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ Tyler. Is there anything I should know?
We are so excited to have you stay with us! There are a few optional items you can bring along to maximize the fun during your trip. You are welcome to bring bicycles to help you get around our Texas camping resort. We also suggest bringing fishing poles for some quality family fishing. And keep in mind that while we do offer plenty of activities here at the Camp-Resort, there are many local attractions that your family may enjoy as well. Is there good fishing?
We have great fishing available onsite in our fishing pond! The catch and release fishing pond has bass, perch, and brim.
Do you have quiet hours?
We do! Quiet hours are from 11pm – 8am. Anyone under 18 years of age must be at their site or cabin during these hours, unless accompanied by an adult.
When do I pick up my add-on?
Stop by our Registration Station to pick up or get information about your add-on!
Where can I find rates?
Our rates vary throughout the season and depend on which site you choose, when you want to visit, and how many people are joining you. To check rates and availability, visit our booking website.
What forms of payment are accepted for my reservation?
We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. 
What are the Piney Woods? What are the benefits of Piney Woods camping?
The Piney Woods is a sprawling and dense forest of pines. This majestic forestland is home to plenty of interesting fauna and wildlife. Staying at our East Texas campground gives you the chance to see the Piney Woods up close and expierence its beauty. 
What is your pet policy?
Pets are only allowed at pet-friendly cabins, so please request at time of booking. For one pet, there is a flat fee of $50. For two pets, there is a flat fee of $75. Pets are not allowed on tent sites. Pet owners are required to bring a crate(s) for their pets and are responsible for pet clean-up and noise control. For the safety of our guests, pets must be up to date on vaccinations. We reserve the right to remove hostile and disruptive pets from the park. Pets of the registered RV site occupant are welcome, but limited to 2 pets per site. Guests or visitors may not bring pets with them. If they arrive with a pet, they will not be permitted to enter the park. View our pet waiver.
What is your policy on firearms and weapons?
Guests must obey all federal, state, and local laws regarding the ownership and possession of firearms. Firearms are not permitted in any property buildings or common areas. The only exception is that guests may have a firearm in a locked, private vehicle in parking areas if permitted by law. The discharge of firearms, BB guns, air guns/rifles, or similar devices is strictly prohibited.
Why isn't my discount showing when I book online?
Discounts and packages are automatically applied when booking. If you have a promo code, be sure to enter that during the booking process.

What makes you one of the best campgrounds in Texas for families?
We’re known as one of the best family campgrounds in Texas due to the countless activities and attractions we have to offer! If you’re looking for a Texas campground with a water park and pools, you’ve come to the right place. Our Water Playground is great for kids and features various water blasters, cannons, and slides, while our spacious swimming pool is perfect for kids and adults alike! How far away is your Texas campground from Dallas?
Lucky for you, we offer some of the best camping near Dallas, because our Camp-Resort is located only an hour and a half away. We also offer some of the best RV camping and cabin rentals near Dallas, with 15+ accommodation types!
Do you offer cabins for large groups?
Yes! We have plenty of cabins for large groups! With our group cabin options, we can accommodate groups of up to 16 guests! Cabins such as our Boo Boo™ Bunkhouse and our Ranger Retreat are a great option. More information on these rentals can be found here.

Will my reservation guarantee a specific campsite or cabin assignment?
Specific campsites or cabins may be requested, but are not guaranteed. We do offer you the opportunity to guarantee your favorite campsite or cabin by paying our applicable locking fee. If you opt out of the locking fee, you are guaranteed your selected site or cabin type, but NOT the specific unit number.
What is in the Ranger Station?
You can stock up on groceries, firewood, ice, and Yogi Bear™ souvenirs for the whole family in our air conditioned Ranger Station.
How do I add an add-on to my reservation at your Texas campground?
Great question! You can add a golf cart, linens, any of our other add-ons to your reservation by calling us or by adding one to your reservation while booking online!
Do you allow personal golf cart rentals?

What is good camping etiquette?

What is your cancellation policy?
We do not give credit or refunds due to the discomforts of nature. The fun continues rain or shine. Our cancellation policy varies depending on the timing of your cancellation notice in advance of the reservation date, please view all the details on our Rules and Policies page.

What attractions are available during my stay?

Can you smoke on property?
Smoking is permitted on cabin porches and at campsites, but it must be confined to your designated site. Smoking of any substance besides tobacco and vaporizers will not be tolerated. Management reserves the right to fine violators of this policy.
Is WiFi available?
As we undergo renovations, our WiFi is limited and only available at the Ranger Station.
Do you offer price matching for campground reservations?
No, we do not offer price matching for campground reservations. Our pricing is carefully determined to provide fair value for the amenities and services included in the price of a stay. We encourage you to explore the features of our campground, and if you have any questions about our current pricing or special offers, feel free to contact our reservation team for assistance!
How do I make changes/add on items to my current reservation?
If you are needing to make changes or add something to your Texas camping reservation, such as a golf cart, please give us a call during office hours and we can help over the phone. Please be ready with your confirmation number.
We are looking to experience Texas glamping at its finest. What accommodations do you recommend?

How far in advance should I make my reservation at your Texas campground?
We recommend booking at least 6 months in advance of desired arrival date, as our Camp-Resort will fill up quickly! We book reservations up to 360 days in advance!

What are the check-in/out times for add-ons?
Most add-on check-in/out times follow cabins and campsites check-in/out times. For more information please call (903) 858-2405.
What are your check-in and check-out times?
Cabins: Check-in 4pm, check-out 11am Campsites: Check-in 3pm, Check-out 1pm
When is the cheapest time to stay?
Our rates depend on when you’d like to stay and what amenities are available during your dates. Non-Peak season is cheaper than Peak season, and weekdays are cheaper than weekends. However, please be sure to check amenity availability before booking.
Are alcoholic beverages allowed at your Texas campground?
They are, but the beverage must be held in an unmarked container or koozie. No glass or breakable items permitted in the Camp-Resort for safety reasons. This is a family-friendly campground in Texas, so please be considerate of others and refrain from loud and unseemly language.
Why should I stay at your East Texas campground over other campgrounds in the area?
Our campground near Dallas is in the heart of East Texas and has a variety of cabin & campsite options! Plus, we offer many more attractions and activities than any other campground nearby - including our water playground, pool, jumping pillows, mini golf, themed events, and more. These attractions, plus our friendly staff, set us apart from other Piney Woods campgrounds.
Can I bring pool toys to play with in the pool?
Yes, you may bring small water toys to our Texas campground's pool. No full-size inflatables.
Can I purchase a gift card?
You sure can - order a traditional or egift card here.
Can I use multiple promo codes?
Unfortunately, we do not allow deals to be combined or multiple promo codes used.
Can I bring my own golf cart, motorized scooter, hoverboard, or ATV to the Camp-Resorts?
For safety and liability reasons, guests are not permitted to bring any personal motorized vehicles into Jellystone Park™. Guests found in violation of this policy may be asked to leave without refund. For your convenience, we do offer golf cart rentals that allow accessing our Camp-Resort easy…and fun!
How do I use Club Yogi™ Rewards?

What are your hours of operation?

Can my friends come visit?
Absolutely! Guests must pay a visitor fee and the number of people per campsite cannot exceed 8.
Do you offer Winter Texan/snowbird camping at your Texas camping resort?
Yes, we do! We offer a variety of long term accommodations, making our Camp-Resort one of the best extended stay campgrounds in Texas. If you’re looking for a monthly RV park in Texas that has numerous RV site types to choose from, we’ve got you covered.
